Vera Bella Enterprises Limited Co. is a spin-off company that manufactures the award-winning Daerrys Tilapia Ice Cream. The company addresses two major challenges: the declining seafood consumption among children and the low market value of tilapia as a commodity. Through value-adding and aquaculture innovation, the enterprise helps tilapia farmers generate higher income and more sustainable livelihood opportunities. By transforming tilapia into a nutritious and enjoyable product, Daerrys Tilapia Ice Cream allows children and even individuals who do not normally eat fish to enjoy a protein-rich dessert that promotes better nutrition in a fun and innovative way.
