Celebrating Innovation, Sustainability, and Inclusive Growth
What began as a university-based research initiative at Central Luzon State University evolved through years of scientific research, product development, technology validation, and commercialization into a nationally recognized women-led spin-off enterprise creating impact across the aquaculture, food innovation, tourism, and livelihood sectors. This report reflects our continuing commitment to measuring not only business growth, but also the social, environmental, and economic value generated through our work with farmers, women workers, distributors, academic institutions, local communities, and consumers.

AS THE
Beyond food innovation, the enterprise drives social transformation within the community through its SCOOP (Social service to Community by providing Opportunities and Opening doors to People with disability) Together Program, which allocates a portion of product sales to support persons with disabilities (PWDs) through mobility assistive devices (wheelchairs, crutches, walkers) and community-centered initiatives. The innovation has also contributed to strengthening local identity and tourism recognition, with the Science City of Muñoz now recognized as the “Home of Tilapia Ice Cream,” reflected in the city’s entry arch, demonstrating how science-based food innovation can shape not only markets, but also communities and local pride.
